Touching Feeling Testing
Catching
holding
letting go
Moving with and against the tide
drifting
to and from
between tenses
Tiny splashes,
bubbles.
The hum and rumble of the escort boat.
trips to the corner shop
Brocolli
bananas
nuts
In 2016 I embarked on swim from England to France. The swim took 14 hours and 31 minutes.
This page features a selection material relating to that swim.
Other works are in production, including drawing, video, animation, text photography, collage and print.
Video documentation of the swim was captured by the artist John Hartley and my coach, Tim Denyer. Some of this material has been incorporated into my collages.
